Bass Tune #1

Here is a short composition on the fretless bass alone. The bass is a Weller, a small German brand that sells its instruments on eBay for very reasonable prices, give them a check, my bass is very well made and can easily compete with superior brands. The sound is direct from the instrument (no amps […]

Chopin’s Polonaise 53 on Guitar

This is an extract from the famous Chopin’s Polonaise nr. 53 (“Heroic”) simplified and adapted on the seven strings guitar. The guitar, my BassLab signature model, is tuned one step below standard. Sound has been made with a amp simulator plugin but without the cabinet simulation, to give that “snappiness”.

Minotauro – Apocalyptic Sense

Goldenseed – The Astral Hologram

Gabriele Pala – Music For Magic

Chapman Stick Melodic Improvisation

Here is some melodic improvisation on the Chapman Stick. I strongly believe that is instrument is an ideal companion for music that’s being created on the fly. Even if it could look like guitar and bass strings on a same huge neck, it’s more like a portable piano to me.

Shroud For Jesus guitar solo

Perhaps this is one of the best solos I’ve ever written so far. Taken from the song “Shroud For Jesus” from the first Karnak album entitled “Perverted“, back in 1997. Played again for you all after 20 years. Enjoy!

Twin Babel Chapman Stick Arrangement

Here is an arrangement for Chapman Stick of the song Twin Babel, the opening track of the second album of Azure Agony. This arrangement tries to capture the main themes of the song, sometimes highlighting the vocal melody, sometimes the rhythms, sometimes the backing chords. My plan is to create such a version for one […]

Happy 2017

I would like to wish a happy 2017 full of satisfaction, creativity and positive stuff. On my side, I’m working on the 4th chapter of the Goldenseed saga hoping that it will be completed and released in the first months of this new year. With Born Again, we are intensively working on the promotion of […]

Bass Improvisation #1

Here is a small video of myself playing a Weller six strings fretless bass. I’m not a bass player, I’m doing it just for fun :) The music is totally improvised on the spot, the drum parts are automatically made by Logic Pro’s drummer track feature.
